A hands-on activity to study the internal and external features of an earthworm in paper form!
Using our innovative model, your students can carry out a simulated dissection using our paper model of an earthworm. A great way to prepare for a dissection or as an alternative to a real dissection.
Students assemble their easy to make earthworm using the colorful paper parts working alone or in small groups. They then look at the organs and organ systems that make up an earthworm. The model covers the following features: pseudo hearts, dorsal and ventral blood vessels, mouth, pharynx, esophagus, crop, gizzard, intestine, brain (cerebral ganglia), nerve collar, ventral nerve cord, ganglia, nephridia, male and female parts.
The Model Making Kit includes enough materials for students to assemble up to 5 paper models working cooperatively.
