Anchor Charts
Anchor Charts are high-impact classroom reference tools that help students return to key skills, vocabulary, strategies, and concepts long after a lesson has been taught. In classroom instruction, anchor charts are commonly used to “anchor” learning by displaying the most important ideas from a lesson in a visible, easy-to-reference format. They are especially useful because direct instruction is often temporary, while posted charts provide a durable visual scaffold students can revisit during guided practice, independent work, learning centers, review, and classroom discussion.
NewPath Anchor Chart Series is designed to be much more than a set of decorative posters. Each subject-specific set functions as a complete classroom learning system, pairing large-format instructional charts with a resource guide that helps teachers turn every chart into meaningful instruction, practice, and review. Whether used for whole-class teaching, small-group reteaching, skills centers, or student reference, these charts give educators a ready-to-use way to reinforce essential grade-level concepts every day.
Each Anchor Chart Set includes 10 large 12 × 18 inch instructional charts plus a 20-page resource guide with activities, practice exercises, and review questions — making it more than a basic poster pack.
