Blood Groups 3-D Model Making Kit

Blood groups are important to know when giving a blood transfusion and also during pregnancy. First, your students make red blood cells and antibodies out of the colorful templates provided. Then they use their 3D models to look at the ABO blood groups (A, B, AB, and O), the Rhesus system and what happens during a blood transfusion. They also look at what types of antibodies each blood group produces. The model also shows why the Rhesus system is important during pregnancy.
